Reversible Corset

First Mockup
The first mockup of the garment was created and marked for pattern adjustment.

Second Mockup
The second mockup of the garment was created and marked for pattern adjustment.

Pattern Finalized
The pattern was adjusted based on the mock-ups and the final version was created and labelled.

Fabric Cut
The finalized pattern was used to cut the embroidered coutil and silk dupioni.

Initial Assembly
Each side of the corset was sewn together and the busk panels were assembled.

Waist Tape
The waist tape was sewn into the inside of the corset.

Seams Basted
The seams of the two fabrics were hand-basted together.

Boning Channels
The boning channels were sewn along the seams of each side of the corset and the basting stitches were removed.

Boning and Zippers
Steel boning was inserted into the boning channels and separating heavy-duty zippers were installed along the busk panels.

Back Lacing Panels
Steel grommets were installed on the back lacing panels.

Binding
Purple bias tape was installed as a binding along each raw edge of the corset.

Coutil Front
The front of the final corset with the coutil facing out.

Coutil Side
The side of the final corset with the coutil facing out.

Coutil Back
The back of the final corset with the coutil facing out.

Silk Front
The front of the final corset with the silk facing out.

Silk Side
The side of the final corset with the silk facing out.

Silk Back
The back of the final corset with the silk facing out.
