  • Base Dress

    The original dress before alterations

  • Duplicate Dress

    A spare, identical dress was used as material for additional pieces

  • Panel Cut

    A panel was cut from the spare dress

  • Panel Inserted

    The panel was inserted into the intended dress to add room into the bodice and fullness to the skirt

  • Bodice Traced

    A pattern of each piece of the bodice was made by tracing

  • Overlay and Skirt Panel Added

    A bodice overlay and skirt panel were made from a zebra print blue fabric to add visual contrast to the dress

  • Final Product

    The final dress on stage.
